01Is Finterm free to download?+
Yes. The Finterm desktop app is free during alpha, with no account required. You can also run the exact same terminal in any browser at finterm.xyz/dashboard.
02Which platforms does the desktop app support?+
Windows (x64 installer / .msi), macOS (universal .dmg for Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux (.AppImage, plus .deb and .rpm builds). The macOS build is unsigned during alpha, so on first run you right-click the app and choose Open.
03Do I need to install anything to use Finterm?+
No. Finterm runs fully in the browser at finterm.xyz/dashboard — the desktop app is just a native wrapper for a dedicated window, offline-friendly chrome and OS-level shortcuts. Same terminal either way.
