Workspace

Multiple workspaces

Layouts as first-class objects — switch between, name, share, export.

A workspace is a named collection of windows with their positions. The bottom bar shows tabs for every workspace; click + to add one, double-click to rename, ✕ to close. The active workspace is the one whose tab is highlighted.

Sharing

  1. Build a layout you want to share.
  2. Press ⌘⇧S (or use the menu) to copy a share-URL to your clipboard.
  3. Anyone who opens the URL gets the same layout — windows, positions, even chart symbols and timeframes — but no data flows from your workspace to theirs.

Export / import (.ftm)

The 'Export .ftm' command writes the active workspace as a single JSON file with the .ftm extension. 'Import .ftm…' loads one back. The file format is stable and self-describing — useful for backups, version control, or sharing layouts that exceed URL length.

Presets

The palette ships preset layouts: Markets, Research, Reading, Watch. Each one builds a workspace tuned for a specific workflow — a chart + watchlist + alerts trio for Markets, a chart + spreadsheet + backtester triptych for Research.
